Membership

TBC caters for all aspects of boating activities — Cruisers, Power Boats, Sailing dinghies — and we have a full programme of both boating and social activities. We are always happy to welcome new members.

All enquiries about NEW memberships should be made to the Honorary Membership Secretary, Colleen Hilsdon.

Collecting Your Membership Pack

All membership packs are now available in the club during opening hours:

  • Friday and Saturday evening 7–11pm
  • Sunday 12–4pm
  • At any of the events
If you are unable to collect your pack it can be posted, but please be mindful that once posted we have no control over when it will arrive. This new method of collection will hopefully reduce the number of forms/packs that have not been received.

Payment

Due to the limited availability of local banks in Cardigan, we are asking where possible for payment to be made using BACS. However if that is not possible we will still continue to accept cheques throughout the year. For security reasons we will only accept cash (in person) on the above dates as we want to avoid cash being placed in the postbox.

Temporary Membership

Valid for a maximum of 14 days in any one year period. At least 14 days’ notice is needed to process a temporary membership. Contact the Membership Secretary for details.

Applicants must either be:

  • Visiting sailors who are boat owners, or
  • A member of a RYA Affiliated Club

Section a) Applicants pay the fee of £5 per day.

Section b) RYA Affiliated Members are not required to pay a fee.
